Fall Harvest Tapas Tasting Event featuring Freshlist
Kick off fall with a night incredible flavors and local goodness!
We’re teaming up with our friends at Freshlist on Friday September 19th to create a curated seasonal menu that celebrates the best of the harvest. Our Tapas Tasting is station-driven event, a bit different than a regular cooking class, guests flow through 4 savory cooking stations and enjoy a grazing platter throughout with dessert at the end.

Join us to kick off fall with amazing food! We are teaming up with our friends at Freshlist to bring you the best of local food in a delicious curated menu.
We’ve worked with Freshlist since their start in 2017 to source so much of the local food we weave into all our classes, events and Family Table menus. They are an incredible resource for local food in our community. They bring together an amazing selection of produce, meats and pantry items from growers, farmers and food artisans. From their facility in the Belmont Neighborhood of Charlotte, they deliver orders to restaurants and homes as well as helping out other non-profits. They are woven into the fabric of local food in Charlotte, together we a food family! They will be on-site to cook with us and add even more fun to this event.
We are coming together to create fall dishes for our Tapas Tasting style event.
This format is a bit different than our regular cooking class events because each dish on the menu is a station! Different than a traditional class, guests will be led by a chef at each of 4 stations to create the dish and then enjoy it right away before moving to the next one in a free flowing format. You’ll rotate on your own (in no particular order) from station to station. By the end of the evening, you’ll leave having a delicious meal and recipes to recreate everything! We are expecting a large group for this event.
Additional Notes
-We will be able to adapt this menu for Gluten-Free. There will be a space at checkout to let us know about allergies by emailing info@legacy.chefalyssaskitchen.com. Unfortunately vegan, vegetarian and dairy-free allergies cannot be accommodated from registering the 4 days prior to the event.
–BYOB or packaged snacks are not permitted at Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen. We have a great menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with snacks.

At Bowers Mill
The parking lot entrance is off Yancey Rd. Our building is located on the backside of the brewery (Brewers at Yancey), which is the opposite part of the building as their front door. There is additional street parking off Yancey and Southside Dr. There is a staircase entrance to Bowers parking from Southside Dr located behind Escape Tactic.
